1. Who we are

Kuwed Software and Digital Marketing Ltd ("Kuwed", "we", "us") is a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 17510601. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what rights you have. It covers this website (kuwed.com), how we communicate with you, the services we provide to business clients, and mobile and web apps that Kuwed publishes under its own name.

2. Data we collect on this website

• No accounts, no tracking cookies, no analytics. This site does not use advertising or analytics trackers.
• Language preference. We store your chosen language (EN/AR/FR) in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it. It never leaves your device.
• Contact form. The form does not send anything to our servers. When you press send, it opens WhatsApp or your email app with your message pre-filled; nothing is transmitted until you send it yourself from that app.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider automatically records technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running. These logs are kept for a limited period.
• Fonts. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and Google receives your IP address. See Google's privacy policy for details.

3. Data you send us

When you contact us by email, WhatsApp, phone or social media, we receive the details you choose to share, typically your name, contact details, company and information about your project. We use them only to reply, prepare proposals and deliver the work you ask for.

4. Client projects

When we build software, run marketing campaigns or host systems for a business client, that client decides what personal data is processed and why. In that role we act as a processor on the client's behalf, process the data only on their documented instructions, and the client's own privacy policy applies to their users.

5. Apps published by Kuwed

For any app that Kuwed publishes under its own developer account, the app's store listing and its in-app privacy information describe exactly what that app collects. Unless an app's own notice says otherwise:

• we collect only the data needed for the app to work (for example an account email, or device information needed for push notifications);
• we do not sell personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising;
• you can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by emailing info@kuwed.com.

6. Legal bases

Under the UK GDPR we rely on: contract (to answer enquiries and deliver services you request), legitimate interests (to run, secure and improve our website and business), legal obligation (for accounting and tax records) and, where required, consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

7. Sharing and international transfers

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers we need to operate, such as hosting, email and messaging providers (including WhatsApp/Meta), and with authorities where the law requires it. Our team works from Egypt and our clients are in several countries, so data may be processed outside the UK. Where it is, we use appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or standard contractual clauses.

8. How long we keep data

Enquiries that do not turn into a project are deleted within 24 months. Client and contract records are kept for as long as the relationship lasts and then for up to 6 years to meet legal and accounting requirements.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email info@kuwed.com; we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or to the data protection authority where you live.

10. Security and children

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. Our website and services are aimed at businesses and are not directed at children under 13.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last changed.
